Cold-stunned sea turtles are being found all over the coast of NC. Unfortunately, not all of them have survived but those that have are being sent for treatment to rehab facilities in NC. The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rehabilitation and Rescue Center (KBSTRRC) is where we transport all of our sick, injured, hooked, and cold-stunned turtles here on Oak Island.

Currently, KBSTRRC is caring for over 103+ turtles and they need our help!

The Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program would like to raffle off this beautiful sea turtle quilt made by and donated to us by one of our former volunteers and patrol members, Lynn S. who now resides in Florida.

Our goal is to reach $5,000.00 and give 100% of the proceeds to KBSTRRC to help with caring for the turtles! 

We have 250 raffle tickets available for sale at $20.00 each! 1 ticket per purchase.

Our raffle runs until Monday, 2/5/2024  or until we reach our goal! We will have a Facebook Live event for the drawing (date TBD)! PLEASE, help us help all of our NC sea turtles by donating today!
