Our adoption goals are for our supporters to have fun and to be engaged with our sea turtles, nests, and program! We value the excitement everyone has for adopting! Thank you to those of you who are interested. We appreciate the care you show to our sea turtles! GOOD LUCK!
This season participants interested in adopting a nest will be chosen randomly for the opportunity to purchase one (1) nest! Each nest will be exclusive to one adoption and participants can only enter once. Nest adoptions this season will be done by random drawings throughout the summer as nests are available. We will draw from a list of random names to purchase a nest adoption. We can never predict the number of nests we will receive this season but we hope to be able to draw several times.
To participate in the random drawing you must submit an entry below. All participants will be limited to one entry, duplicate entries will be removed. If your name is not selected, your name will remain in the drawing until adoptions are complete.
If your name is drawn, you will be notified via email from [email protected]. You will have 5 days from this email to complete your purchase. Please add this email and [email protected] to your contacts and be sure to check your Junk/Spam folders. If not completed in 5 days, you will lose your turn, and the purchase link will no longer work.
We have had low numbers of nests the past two seasons, and can never predict how many nests we will receive each season. We will have 55 nests available for adoption. Our hope is that if we receive more than 55 nests, we will be able to move any adoptions that had nest loss due to animal predation, tidal overwash, inclement weather, etc., to a nest we hope will be viable if any nests are still available.
Please remember adoptions are symbolic and you will not receive live hatchlings! Also, we can never predict predations on nests or inclement weather that may affect the loss of nests. No refunds on adoptions.
